This design went from a sketch in my little book to a watercolor painting!

I have created this design in honor of my dear, sweet Anakin. I love him so much! I have always been a dog mamma and love all animals. This cat stole my heart. I wanted to combine my love for Anakin with my love for gardens. Cats live in the moment. I thought, what a wonderful way to live. What a reminder for us to live for right now. Don’t worry about tomorrow or the what if this happens.

This cat bouquet is more about capturing how Anakin makes me feel rather than what he looks like. I want something fun and playful. Anakin has moved on to his new home with his mamma, my niece. I wondered if he would miss me, and then I learned that cats live in the moment.

Yes, I have pages of sketches. I have big dreams. I keep looking at trends, yet there is a voice inside me that wants to paint all my ideas. I know my art makes me smile, and it will make others smile too. I appreciate your kind words for my art and my shop.
