About

Hi, I’m Mireya — an abstract flower painter and creative blogger who believes the world is better when we make things. My art is whimsical, loose, and garden‑inspired, shaped by my love of nature and the joy of simply creating. I paint flowers with brushes, found objects, and whatever else feels right in the moment. Sometimes I collage. Sometimes I dream about landscapes. Always, I follow curiosity.

Why A Painted Garden? Because it sounds like the perfect place to wander, wonder, and make things. A place where pink roses, yellow tulips, orange poppies, white chrysanthemums, and your own imagination all get to bloom.

I have many loves: tea, music, books, dancing, a good novela, train rides to new places, garden strolls, writing, cake, culture, and learning about art. I’m a lifelong dog lover who recently fell for a cat-proof that life is full of surprises!

Through my work, I hope to encourage others to nurture their creative spirit, stay curious, and find magic in the natural world.

Don’t think about making art, just get it done! Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art. -Andy Warhol
