Art has helped me reflect and have peace. There is something about picking up a paintbrush, going through my supplies, the colors, and watching the idea bloom before my eyes that gives me peace. I have to paint! The only potion I need is gardens, so I paint flowers!
I sketched these apothecary bottles a while ago and want to paint new potion bottles. Kindness Potion #9? Let me figure it out.

I have been getting a lot of compliments on my art. I am working so hard on building a better website and business overall. I added new stickers to my Redbubble shop.
Yesterday I realized I had set up the free ebook wrong. That led to seeking help from a happiness engineer. I was overwhelmed yet practicing thoughts of abundance and feeling that the answers would come. They did! The engineer stayed with me until my problem was resolved. I got to thinking that we each have skills and talents to help each other. We can’t be good at it all.

I love these containers too! I want to do something with herbs. Wait, where is this print, and why don’t I have it in my shop? Honor your gift!
This is a quote that I have on my website.
“If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.” – Vincent van Gogh
Don’t let the doubt get you. You have skills, and along the way you will need help.
Honor Your Gifts
If you are an artist like me, awesome! If your art is in a classroom or in an office, honor the talents and skills you have.
Watch Your Language
Catch yourself saying words like ugly, good, bad, or mistake. If you are working on a task, it’s ok not to have all the answers. Focus on what you can do and seek help. Help will always find you.
These are some of my art journal entries. Oh, my goodness, I like these! I will end this quick post with these lovely flowers! Hopefully the colors and words remind you that we all have skills and talents. It’s like every animal in the animal kingdom. It’s all beautiful because it’s unique.

I don’t think I have painting on the right? I hope I do. Both of these can be a beautiful set of digital prints for my shop. See, I must listen to my own words and honor my skills. I don’t have all the answers. I will focus on the art that makes me smile, brings me warmth and peace.
Thank you so much for being here. Go ahead and share your art or what your talents are. Take a moment and honor your gifts. The world needs us.
