What lights you up? We all have something that we are good at and that, when we do it, gives us pride. For me, that is art!
Today I want to share a few of my favorite projects

I could go on, but I’ll leave it here. These flower paintings are a wonderful collection of my color palettes. And Crimson Red, where have you been all of my life! This red makes lovely pinks. I’ll share more of that in my poster project.
I have been thinking about the word freedom. What does it mean? Have I really lived according to that word? I certainly have glorious painting sessions where I feel free!
Projects That I’ve Made With My Students
Now these guys can teach me a lesson about freedom. They just create and ignore the rules.

Freedom is the word I’ll be thinking about. The kids whom I supposedly teach always show me what art truly is. Kids just do what lights them up. No permission. No rules.
Do what lights you up. Work on the list of what you want. Go outside and tell it to the moon. I’ve been spending morning and afternoon walks thinking about all of this. Yeah, the breeze is a wonderful listener.
