Today I was listening to some wise words from James Victore regarding AI. He basically said that AI is lazy. AI is not going to express your ideas and voice who you are. You can do that. Then I got this email from an artist who was asking her readers if they can’t paint unless they have a class to follow along with.

I thought of AI, and I thought of me. I have never done well taking a class and working on a project. I think about the classes where I really enjoyed myself. One of those classes happens to be Radical Typography with James Victore. And he taught me to ask myself. In that class, James taught me how to tap into my magic.

Many times, we get caught up in how they would do it. What would they think? What do they want? The bigger question is: what do I want? When I have those painting sessions where I paint for hours. losing track of time. I followed my curiosity, and I played.

I realized that every time I follow my gut, my heart, and my ideas have been great. By great, I mean the projects light me up, make me want to share them in hopes that other people can feel that magic too! What makes this magic is that it’s the kind of energy that radiates and people need.

I have tons of ideas. I went for wonderful wandering strolls this weekend. I was inspired by so much. Here’s the little video.

My scanner arrived today. I’m going to quickly test it out and watch a movie.
