I am days away from officially beginning my summer. I will be teaching summer school. I want to work on so many projects. Most importantly, I want to work on myself and build the business of my dreams!

I hope life finds you well! Summer is a great time, a reminder to live by these words.

I want to live a summer life!

I found these random classroom objects I want to stamp with. I’ll test it out with kids first. I started reading Austin Kleon’s new book! So far, it’s an awesome read. This summer is going to be all about making stuff. I have been enjoying my watercolors to paint flower doodles. I drew flowers with colored pencils and watercolors. That led to taking my doodles and turning them into a collage? I want to try that idea! Why not, right?

I have one calendar in my shop! The fact that I sold two calendars with nothing but an idea, and to prove that I can do it, is awesome! I am working on an academic calendar. I need to know that I can do this. I have been working on art with intention. I have this dream of earning a living through my art. I don’t have all the answers. Am I scared? Terrified! At the same time, so excited for all that is to come! I believe in my work.

I have my dreams. I am definitely in the uncertain phase. I don’t have all the answers. I made three sales and got a 5-star review. At the beginning, I’ll take it! If you are one of the buyers, thank you! More on my summer projects in the next post. What are your summer dreams?
