Three paintings of abstract flowers
Nine beautiful magenta flowers surrounded by vines of green and blue

“Art should be something that liberates your soul, provokes the imagination, and encourages people to go further.” – Keith Haring

Yes, that is what painting did for me today! There is something magical about doodling flowers. There is no agenda. Nobody needs you. You are free as a bird whose cage has been opened. You flutter from idea to idea. You don’t care about mistakes because there are none.

Liberate my soul. I enjoy these words. I do love the phrase flying by the seat of my soul.

Music liberates my soul.

Flowers liberate my soul.

Color liberates my soul.

Blogging about art liberates my soul.
