To be a better floral artist, admire the roses in all their poses. This week l learned that Morgan Harper Nichols has a podcast. I took a free artpreneur workshop and discovered my new word of the year. Kute Blackson mentioned a phrase that you should say every day, I am abundance. I am abundance. That’s the phrase. Abundance is my word.

Here are the top three ideas I have learned this week

I am abundance!

There is only one Frida Kahlo. I am me. There is room for all of us. Part of abundance means valuing your work and pricing your work accordingly.

Daily Journal Entries

I am doing daily journal entries on Instagram. I’ll choose one of these entries to write a weekly blog post. I should probably choose one or all to create an idea pin for Pinterest. I was listening to Espinoza Paz talk about how he writes his songs. He said his success comes from a belief that he can. There are no obstacles. Espinoza Paz can write anywhere. It can be noisy or quiet. He can turn a simple experience into a song. Yes, I have had those moments! Why don’t I paint like this all the time. I can. I’ll be showing my work more often.

Paint Roses In All Their Poses

I came across these lovely yellow-orange frosted tip roses. I have been organizing my Pinterest board. Oh my, I have been forgetting all about soft sporadic petals. This idea is more than roses. I shall simply paint without apology or regret. I’ll revel in all that my senses adore. And I’ll paint how it makes me feel!

Paint With Water

This is a cool tip I picked up from The Frugal Crafter.

What a week! Also, I was reminded to focus on the positive rather than the negative. Why would I ever want to focus on the negative? Right?

Thank you for reading. If you have a tip that you’d like to share please comment below.

Siempre,
