My morning ritual includes thinking about my day. I like to say today is a new day! Thank you for my blessings and all those to come. Maybe I’ll read a little Kute Blackson or something to prepare my mind for the day.
What I love most about my mornings is getting up and getting out my supplies. I lay them out, knowing I have nowhere particular to be. I go 2-3 hours or more, if it’s a really good session. I’m going from idea to idea. At first, I just show up, but then as I work, that almost magical flow happens. I’m making art and feel an immense peace.
Here are some of my favorite projects.

Yes, my ideal morning is painting and working on my art projects. Then I have the afternoon to go to a garden, visit family, or do what I need to do. These are dream days.
And this was one of those days!

Ok, I am off to have dinner and then paint two flower projects. I’m just going to get my supplies out and work my magic.
Thank you for being here. In the next few posts, I will share my newest paintings and my first printable art lesson. I think we are going to do Van Gogh-inspired flowers.
