What is that saying? You have to lose yourself to find yourself.
You put your tools out, and you show up to explore what the tools can do. You will begin with one idea and then another. It goes on, and suddenly you have this body of work. A good part of it is just stuff you made. It made you feel this immense peace, like what was I worried about? I thought I knew about POD, but I don’t. I’ll figure it out as I keep going.
The best part is I want to keep going. This is the start of my latest project. I am working with three colors to recreate the flowers on the right.

From sketch to actual painting. This is a large sheet of watercolor paper. The left is one painting. The right is another painting. I mixed up a lovely green and all these beautiful spring colors with three colors. I am taking my time.

The set will include three paintings: flowers, a quote, and flowers. I think I want the quote to be the following. Let us run the race that is before us and never give up. For more updates and the final paintings, visit my Instagram and look out for the post to come.
That is the point of getting lost in something. All the noise, distraction, and negative thoughts get lost, and all that is left is wonderful play. Your curiosity is nourished, and everything is possible. That is what happens to me.
Simplify, slow down, be kind. And don’t forget to have art in your life – music, paintings, theater, dance, and sunsets. -Eric Carle
Thank you for being here. I am currently working hard on my Etsy shop. I will be having an official grand opening with a sale. I have to work on mugs and create a new cover photo for my website. Oh, and there’s this art post idea where I create a project featuring an artist. That is going to happen. I must work on that, though. Again, I thank you so much for being here. Spring is coming, and I have so many ideas!
