Yes, working on two paintings at the same time can give you a creative boost! You begin on one painting, then make marks on the other painting. As you go, you are like, I don’t know what will happen, but I’m curious to find out! Literally makes me think of when kids paint. It’s magical!

I mixed up my palette. Lately, it has been pink, yellow, and teal. It’s been cold, but my senses, my soul, are feeling pink and peach spring flowers.

That’s where this beautiful painting in progress got the chance to shine and move to my shop.

I have a collection of work coming out soon. I have been in this loose, abstract, soft color spring mood. Then there was this post about batching. I have done this before, without knowing it had a fancy title. What a great idea to have me add a few more paintings to my collection.

Still working on these. The big flower needs something. I’m not sure how I feel about the colors. I’ll set it aside, go on with my day, and figure it out. Now that was good practice in creating a collection for my shop.

As you work, you learn, you grow, and then you have beautiful work. Now it’s your turn. Get out the painting supplies or use a simple pencil. Sketch your ideas. Set aside your thoughts and make art!

Make sure you subscribe so you can be in the loop with all the latest project ideas and new work I have coming! I am thrilled! There are books, tote bags, and now I’m thinking mugs. Next week, I’ll share all of this in my Happenings around my creative space post!

Thanks for being here.
