I love today’s WordPress prompt because art is all I’ve ever wanted to do in life. Art helps you express, be, laugh, love, and live as you are. A connection and appreciation for nature is art. We are all artists. I painted this idea in my quote art days. There’s a poem too. Let me see if I can find them.

I could not find the poem. I know it was for an Eric Carle project I did with a class. It said something about friendships being mended. Here’s an equally good poem about flowers and why I paint them.

With my blog and my art, I hope that my readers feel the energy I feel because I paint. I hope you feel the fresh air, and that you can let go of your worries, recognize the beauty of it all, and know that you are part of it!

There is such a freedom that comes from art. We hold the brush and can paint whatever we want. Many of us forget that we have that power. I’m no artist. I haven’t painted since I was a kid. These are the thoughts that keep us from who we truly are. I used to think that way too. I still doubt at times. Then I look at my work and I think wow this is great. I saw that I was playing, having fun, and being peaceful.

I hope that my art brings readers joy and that together we can paint flowers because there’s no right way to paint them. There’s room for everyone!
