Well I suppose this question comes at a good time. I have written books. I have spent months creating and writing a book. Different Is Beautiful was inspired by a childhood curiosity. Four books and over 500 flowers later here I stand. I am an artist.

Today I wanted to paint to add something to the shop. Perhaps that was my problem. That was the start. Some days are like that. Let this be a reminder to always paint for the joy and the thrill of the idea. Today I taught students about Faith Ringgold. More on that tomorrow.
