In the last project I went through a lot of layers. I like the color. Then I didn’t like the texture. I needed more contrast. On and on it went. Today, I painted a floral arrangement in 15 minutes. I’ve got to paint so I can paint right? Every day I plan on painting something quick just for the sake of generating ideas. Then I’ll do one, two, maybe three paintings a week.
