Last night I published a post with my new art trio. If you saw it, you saw it, but I didn’t like it. It wasn’t the blue I wanted. The color palette and writing didn’t match the emotions I wanted to create in this project. I published it.
I knew I wasn’t happy with the paintings. Why keep going? I couldn’t let doubt win. If I feel the same way tomorrow, I’ll fix it.
Today is a new day! I went back to my original plan of patina blue. I have been seeing daisies! Fixed these paintings!

Now I would totally hang this up in my playroom. Play and fun are part of living smarter, not harder.
The whole problem started because I thought too much about making art with intention. I know this is important, but when I am in the creative process, I need to let go and do my thing. Lesson learned.
