Last night I was updating a post and looking through my media images. I saw this painting. I love the colors. I love the deep pink and the orange tones. I’m not one for orange, but these oranges are beautiful and go well with the blue. The blue leaves are a dream. This bouquet is bright, warm, and in a blue vase! There’s lots of texture in this painting, and that gives it an organic, handcrafted feel. Then it hit me: this right here is my style! The way the blooms fill the page is abundance.

I would love to recreate this painting again! I will add it to my list today. Yes! I got rid of this painting because I do see a few reasons why, but oh my goodness, I painted these colors. There I was, wondering why my watercolor paint isn’t as bright as this high seller on Etsy. These colors are bright and looking good! There is room for all of us!

I just had to gather my thoughts today and paint ideas that I doodled for fun, and now I can reposition them to sell in my shop. Turning my art into a business is my dream. That is what I have been thinking about these days. I’m excited because it’s going to be good!
