I love mixing colors and making a mess. Lately, it has been this little blue book and my watercolor set that have led me to good ideas. Well, not a good or bad idea, but rather a place of peace. That is where the best ideas are.

Oh, but this journal entry was painted with acrylic paint. Oh, that’s right!

I go to my art box and select three colors. Then I grab a flat brush. Sometimes I paint with my left hand because I am right-handed. At other times, I use a large brush instead of a small one. There is something about a flat brush that feels right. Flat brushes are my signature brushes. I love knowing what works for me!

Art keeps me going. Everything, from the colors to the references in nature, is my hobby, my way of life. We should always have what brings out that light that shines within us. Right?

My Art Mission

I want more than anything to use my art to share my mindfulness with the world. We all have a gift that we can share with the world. Through this gift, we can remind others of their gift and of the light that shines within them.

Here’s my plan. Be whimsical. Be Me. Keep it simple. Live smarter. Paint my heart out. Paint the blooms that I want to see every day. Paint the blooms that remind me that I wasn’t meant to struggle but to live in abundance. The universe is here for me, for you!

I am participating in workshops. I am building my Etsy shop. I’m working on my blog. It’s going to be good. It is good!

If you are an artist and not sure where to start or doubting your ideas, just pick up the paintbrush or, better yet, use your fingers and paint. If my art gives you joy and positive energy, then good! Be well and live in abundance. I want to help people nourish their spirit of boundless curiosity.
