I have been reviewing old posts and improving them. That meant I had to look at my images, and I was about to select and hit the delete button. I am. I did a little. Then I realized that these projects have their purpose.

All of my projects brought me peace. Every artist knows that art is all about the thrill of getting and working on an idea. At that moment, you just want to make something. You have an idea. Maybe you just start because you love to draw.

Every Project Helps You Get It Right

I’ll have a color palette that wasn’t right. With a few layers, it is. Art is beautiful patience. Art takes time.

Making Lots of Art is How You Define Your Style

The biggest win of these projects is that I think I know my style of flowers. There are certain colors and brushes that I like to use. This is my style. I’m a whimsical abstract flower painter.

Here’s to celebrating all your projects and even life’s ups and downs. If I may give you advice, it would be to appreciate every piece of art you make. Appreciate all of the moments in your life. There is always a chance to grow and a lesson to learn.
