I have been working on a softer unified color palette. What are your favorite colors?

Then I browsed Pinterest Trends to see what colors are or will be on trend. I feel like, since I paint flowers and how beautiful nature is, color is an important way to express that.

Oh, I mixed up lovely cool blues and Throwback kid colors. My pinks and peaches would be beautiful for the doilies and lace motif. My palette covers three trends. I have been learning to combine trends with my flower painting style to create unique motifs.

I wanted to continue exploring color mixing with professional heavy-body acrylic paint.

Wow, both Basics and Professional paint mix up beautiful colors. I did add Ultramine Blue and Deep Turquoise to the professional paint, which created the greens I love.

Master’s Touch is another brand of student-grade paint that I started using and love! I have lots of paper and a new journal. I am excited for all the new ideas that will come! The first one I have is painting a cool blue dreamy field of blue wildflowers. With little pink flowers? Yes!
