Here we are about to embark on a new month! I woke up this morning thinking about an idea I read about. I’m asking myself, why not create a calendar. By the way I like to share my happenings on a monthly basis because it keeps me accountable. Maybe readers will also be inspired to make art or just create positive energy.

Let’s get on to my happenings!

12 months of a look back at my art

I forget what the actual project is called. I don’t know where I found the idea but looking at my work from this past year and creating a calendar with 12 designs sounds amazing! If nothing else I can look at my work and see how I have grown.

I finally learned and opened up a shop with Gelato and Etsy

Yay! At first it was scary. I had some idea of what I wanted and was doing but, really no clue! I had to do it! I am learning and really thinking about the value my blog, products and art create. Am I creating value? That leads to the next big idea for A Painted Garden.

What value do I create with my art?

Here is what I get from my art. I get peace, self-expression and positive energy. My hope is that if I feel this way, then others can feel that too. I have been hearing a lot lately about doing what uplifts you and creates positive energy. I want to do the same with my blog and my art. My mission is to think about the value of my art and create from that perspective. I appreciate all of the feedback I get from my readers. Thank you!

This beautiful design is a work in progress. I have yet to write the words, what are you grateful for? I want to create a big abundant bouquet as a reminder that we always have abundance. Abundance is definitely a mindset I want more of.

Adding new work

I have gradually entered into a monthly tradition of adding new art to my shop. I added at least four new deigns this month. I have a stack of art that I will be publishing within the coming weeks. Now I have an idea of where to begin selecting the art for the calendar! Then I am thinking, where should I sell my art. As of now I am on Redbubble and Etsy.

I have experience creating lessons for students and of course there is my lovely art. I am not sure how I found out about this, but it must have been through a summer workshop. This is a possibility to create a stream of income. I am very passionate about learning and the confidence that comes with the more you know.

This is some of what I have been working on. I want to create beautiful work that brings me peace. If I can do that, I can grow and help others.
