Wait a minute, let’s not worry about what it feels like, just paint. Paint, draw and sketch ideas.

I wrote the above words three years ago and right now these words apply more than ever.

I just read a few words about being in that magical place where the art isn’t good or bad. You make it. like it and want to hang it on the fridge. The words went something like that.

Today I want to take a moment to look through my art and find some pink projects. Chances are it’s stuff I just painted because I wanted to. You know what, it’s the best.

Coincidently, I worked on a coloring book, and the cover happens to be pink.

The idea for this book cover came from my pink flower garden collection. I signed up for a workshop and was inspired.

That led to greeting cards and it’s that I am putting my work out there in new ways. I am not thinking of my art being good or bad. I just like it! I want to try fabric and wrapping paper. Now that my projects are done, like the coloring book, I like the color and the flowers I painted!

I believe I was trying to paint something else and I was like oh let me paint flowers for a pattern. I had pinks on my mind and here we are. I went through this phase of blue in my art. Now I feel it’s all about pink. I wonder what the pantone color of the year will be.

Oh, and I remember being Wicked inspired. I should work on that! I can see the pink bouquet I want to paint now. There is only make.
