I thought painting on large paper would be hard to fill up. I like the large page and am having fun filling up the page with watercolor doodles.

I had an idea of a specific pink and green. Then I began mixing. I didn’t get the colors I wanted. I kept on painting. I painted a gold green background. I wasn’t about to let that go.

Painting on a vertical canvas makes me feel like I am painting on a wall. I always think of this artist who paints on the buildings in old forgotten places. He wants the people to smile as they walk by his murals. That is literally all I want my work to be, pops of blue an all!

I find myself in this awkward phase. Yet I free myself of doubt and proceed on. I was going to add acrylic paint layers to my flowers, but I decided they are beautiful as is.

I have been painting doodles and seeing where that takes me. Oh, I finally hit the publish button and the abstract flower doodle coloring book should be live by this weekend. I am so excited! More on that and new work!

Thank you to all of the new subscribers. Every day there is more of us. My message to you all is to paint whatever you want; however, you choose. Trust in your process. Pick up your brush and make marks. There is only make.
