I have been seeing a lot of pink pumpkins. In general, there has been a lot of pink Halloween decor. There was also Summerween. Cat Coq suggested creating a portfolio of seasonal decor. This week it was pumpkins.
I used my fingers to paint the background and pumpkin shapes. Then I used a brush to add the details.

Thoughts About Fall
If I had three orange pumpkins and the one in the middle was pink, that would be me! That should be all of us. By all of us I mean standing out by being who you are and doing what you do. I like Tabitha Brown’s words, that’s my business.
And all these pumpkins bring me to the beautiful season of fall. Fall isn’t spring or summer, but it leads to spring.
My favorite trees are the big blooming trees with swaying leaves and a dancing breeze. It cools you off, gives you clarity and makes you wander, dream and realize your true north. Of course I love painting flowers. Of course I love nature! As I write words about fall and pumpkins, I have visions of lovely leaves falling from the trees.
There is something beautiful about change. The leaves change from green to oranges, yellows and browns. Aren’t these colors of cheer, friendship, warmth and home?
To recognize the beauty in every season and in us, isn’t that the gift of nature.
Have you ever wandered in a pumpkin patch? I like to see all the sizes, shapes and colors. As you look from pumpkin to pumpkin you observe that each pumpkin stands from the rest. Then you look at all of the pumpkins and see that together they are one big, beautiful patch!
I end with wise words that I overheard: at any age we are just growing, always growing. I ‘ll continue to grow in kindness, in love, in peace, and of course art.
There is only make!
