I had a simple idea with ornaments

and created these flowers.

We all have ideas I am not what led to my idea of making flowers by twirling a small ornament on watercolor paper. Maybe I saw the idea from somewhere. It had to be the artist who had a box full of odds and ends. Her message was taking any ordinary object and get creative with it.

I love the interesting marks I get with an ornament. The other lesson that I have learned is exploring colors and blending them together. I just want to make art. This is what I want A Painted Garden to be about.
