I remember stamping with a candle lid. Fun times. So, I was looking through past posts, deleting most of them, before finding my make poster.

I just gathered my supplies. Yes, I used the spray bottle watercolor idea from The Frugal Crafter. Then came the stamp shapes. Out of nowhere candle lid stamps began to bloom. That is what make is all about. There is no practical, good or bad. You make art.

This version is fun to look at. You get caught up in the details and wonder why or how. I love the turquoise but not the gray pink. This is one of those projects where it didn’t work out, but I like it! Who would think that you could turn candle lid stamps into flowers. With art there is a whole world of possibilities.
