I love painting paper roll flowers. You never know what will happen. It’s a surprise every time.

Here is my process.

These flowers are simple to make and always produce beautiful results.

  1. Cut paper roll into strips, pointy, round, straight, wavy, cut the center of each strip…the possibilities are endless.
  2. Use acrylic or tempera paint to paint the paper roll and stamp. Stamp a few times. Apply more paint. The choice is literally all up to you.
  3. Once the paint dries fill in the white space areas with watercolor. Add details like the leaves and stem.
  4. Add details with markers, pens or neocolours

Wait, I could finger paint a flower this way!
