In this, post I want to share my art, my ideas and encourage you to make art.

What do these pictures have in common?

Flowers and leaves with all their color and shapes bring me peace and make me stop and wonder how and why. Wandering around can be just what you need to remind you of your truth. I love going to Anthropologie for the colors and pottery too.

Get out there and explore your world!

You are a beautiful butterfly. You’ll never know how far you can go and what wonderful places you’ll be part of.

Go on flutter!

Try something weird. It doesn’t have to make sense. All you have to do is make art. You just might discover that moving small ornaments in a circular motion will create cool flowers!

Don’t be scared to post your work. Don’t doubt the work that you did years ago. Keep the work that you posted years ago because that is part of your growth.

Every piece of art that you make is your art.

We are always growing. We are always blooming. Look at projects of the past as moments that show what you know and how you’ve grown.

Every step leads to where you are now. Be proud of that!

The tools don’t matter. You matter! Use what you have and paint! When I say use what you have, I mean paint with you, your creative spirit. You are amazing! Yes, Crayola is fun to play with!

Don’t stress about the right supplies. Begin with a pen.

Ok you are right; it is nice to own beautiful colors and have a box filled with your creative tools.

The tools should help you explore you because you are the most important tool in your box. You make the tools. Don’t let the tools make you.

Open your eyes and observe what is around you. You realize that the world is full of artist and ideas waiting to be. They already exist. You just have to listen and pay attention. There is room for you! What are you waiting for? What have you really got to lose?
