Who is ready for summer? It is always nice to have those days where you don’t have anywhere to go or anything to do. You paint for hours. It’s wonderful!
In this post,I will share 5 ideas that you may want to try because it is always fun to try new projects. If you are an artist like me, you always have ideas and love new ideas. I long for the summer days of painting for hours. Life can get busy. That’s when we need to stop, reflect and let ourselves be.
Here are 5 Ideas you’ll want to try!
- Suzanne Allard’s Paint a Modern, Joyful Bouquet with Gouache! (even if you think you’re “not creative”) I am loving this class! More about my experience and project in an upcoming post.
- Pre-mix some gorgeous colors. Then start a painting session with your gorgeous colors. I just picked up a small set of eight mini containers for 1.25 and yes, I can’t wait to mix colors.
- Have you signed up for Workshop Week? I sure have. I am excited and what a way to kick start my wonderful summer. Two words, art and free so of course I signed up!
- Right now, get a pen or a pencil, close your eyes and draw flowers. Let me try that.
- Listen to a creative podcast. Although Kute Blackson has been helping me a lot these days!

One Project Many Lessons
I want to remind you and me that every project is a chance to learn and have fun! Wildflowers need time to bloom and grow. Believe in your art.
