a palette filled with orange paint

I remember when I painted these Tulips. The colors were expressive of my thoughts, and feelings. I was trying to capture the beautiful fields of tulips.

This is the finger-painted flower behind my tulips. Oh right, finger painting is fun! A fingerpainting book project? That sounds great! I wrote that idea down but haven’t worked on it.

mix up pinks and oranges and paint a flower with your finger.

I like Tulip fields in Netherlands. Tulips remind me of a school project. Windmills and beautiful flowers can always make you feel like you have a place.

When I painted these flowers, I imagined a wall filled with flowers like these. Sometimes we have days where bright flowers could make the difference. Where all you need to do is stop, breathe, and then you realize that peace is always here.

I painted these tulips a long time ago, well maybe not that long ago. I was just mixing colors, beautiful colors! This weekend I look forward to mixing colors and painting summer inspired flowers. Long summer days in the garden, sketching, drawing, rejuvenating my heart, mind and soul and lingering is always a wonferful breath of fresh air.
