Should you observe your work? Or should you keep painting and let the answers find you? Keep painting!

Right away I want to say just make. I live by these words in my creative space. Making art is important because it helps you get into the art that you make.

You arrive at your sessions with the ideas of doubt or the latest trend. You may have that post of an artist who’s sharing her latest project. There are the likes, the money talk…it may take time to let go of all that and paint. Once you paint, you realize that you can do this. It becomes about how do I realize the idea in my head! You might be in the middle of an idea only to start over again, it’s a thrill

I have had tons of ideas and in honor of Earth Day I want to appreciate nature. I am grateful for the moon, the stars, the flowers and the trees.

Yes, I do like pops of color. I like neutrals. I like loose florals. I do love blue. I like to paint flowers in a variety of ways.
