Have you read Show Your Work by Austin Kleon? Occasionally I will pick up the book and read a few pages. Today, these are the words that are perfect for the momentum I am having.

Strengthen your neck The way to be able to take a punch is to practice getting hit a lot. Put out a lot of work. Let people take their best shot at it. Then make even more work and keep putting it out there. The more criticism you take, you realize it can’t hurt you.

That’s what I will do. Other people’s words and actions don’t define me. I am taking a few days to meditate and relax. Then I will get back to my painting. Painting flowers is what I do! I paint for me because I can’t imagine life without my art. I want to put out more work. I want to open up a shop. Yes, of course I can!

I have signed up for a workshop. It’s called Art2Life. I am so inspired by Linsay Green Learn. I will be signing up for her Bright Garden Blooms workshop.

All I can say is here I am. This is my work.

I am growing. I am blooming. It has been raining a lot and oh my goodness, spring is going to be beautiful! We all are! Have a good one!
