If you have been following and reading my blog, then you know that my crazy business idea is A Painted Garden. I want to build a community of artists who come to A Painted Garden for encouragement. We come together to be our unique authentic selves. I would love to host painting parties. We can eat good food and just paint. Perhaps a retreat in Mexico. Oh, my why not!

I have been thinking about my crazy business idea this week. That seems to be the theme of this week. Even my walk under the moon and the starts. She seems to be saying ok tell me what you want. you know you can have it right.

I am writing for my blog right now. I am building my blog community. Every day there are more of you. I appreciate your kind feedback. My biggest crazy dream in regard to A Painted Garden is to work with Anthropologie. I can relocate to Mexico and live on a ranch filled with nature. I can digitally sell my art around the globe and host painting parties. What is your crazy business idea?

10 rules for A Painted Garden

Here are ten rules that I believe are the essence of what A Painted Garden means to me.

1. The best plan is to start.
2. Nurture your creative space.
3. Nevermind what people think. What do you think?
4. Always wander and wonder.
5. There’s room for all of us.
6. There is only make.
7. Make it colorful.
8. The only right way to paint a flower is your way.
9. Keep a mental journal of all the weird and wonderful things that spark your curiosity. Put it all in your work.
10. Stop trying to be an artist. You are an artist. I am.

Yeah, I like these rules! I am working on a poster. So that is my crazy business idea. Now that I voiced my ideas, my goals don’t seem all that crazy. Have good one!
