Art Lessons for Life is a book project that I started. I will be sharing details of this project, a new project list and lessons that art has taught me. I have had amazing art experiences that I will never forget. This watercolor palette and my paint mat, we have been amazing places!

Art is my equilibrium
When I paint I can be worried or thinking about my day. Then I start painting. All is calm and beautiful! I recently observed how I have postive thoughts during my painting sessions. Oh maybe my best work comes because I am thinking about my day and not about my art. Oh that is good! The biggest lesson that I am learning is to make art. The best learning is in doing. Make art and make more art. The more art I make the more I am able to say I am an artist. I don’t care what you think. I believe in my work.

I had the honor of guiding children through several art projects. I go in to teach them. They always teach me. I always remember how I ask them, “How did you do that? They reply, “I don’t know I just paint.” That is all we have to do!
Art Lessons for Life
This is the title of my new project. I call every painting a project. I work on a painting for 2-3 sessions, sometimes more. I decided it would be great to create a journal book filled with the lessons that art has taught me. I will be taking the leftover paint from my projects to paint swatches. Then I’ll use pens to doodle flowers and words. That is my plan. I have more ideas. I’ll be sharing the project with you along the way.
The book will be a mix of Road Trip: Lessons for Life and this awesome video. Morgan goes into more detail in this video too.
Project list
Here is a list of projects that I will be working on. The list may change and it often does.

What else should I work on? Oh there is this flowers of the world idea! I always have ideas.
I had to take a moment and share my ideas. I am grateful for the times that I can express myself with my art. That I have the means to purchase my supplies and make time to paint. I love that I can share that with you. I appreciate all of the kind feedback. I now have 150 paintings in my gallery. These paintings are reflective of the colors, textures and flowers that I want to paint more of. The story behind these paintings are near and dear to my soul.
I am looking forward to more art! If you have any ideas that can help me achieve my projects plese let me know. What would you like to see more of on this blog? Shoud I do more videos? I want to help you too. What are you working on? Use the comment section to voice your ideas and share them with the world.
With Love, Mireya
