Looking for a fun project idea? You can doodle a Marc Chagall! All you need is colorful tools and a colorful sheet of paper! How you do that is all up to you!
Supplies
Here are the supplies that I used: oil pastels, yellow construction paper, and a pencil to draw out my lines and shapes. I used Neocolors because my oil pastels doesn’t include a good pink.
If you don’t have oil pastels, you can use markers, pens, or crayons— use what you have and have fun! I will be doing a painted version.
Here’s the best part! Doodling!
Draw simple shapes. Draw rectangles and swirls of a vanilla ice cream cone. Yes, a vanilla cone sounds delicious, right? These shapes will help you form the building in your village. Did I say doodling the shapes was the best part? Well, doing the curses and lines is even better. Do lines, and swirls, and let your mind wander. You will be amazed at what you create!
I love flowers! I had to include flowers in my drawing. If the moon and stars are your thing, include those in your drawing. Draw in your paw bestie. Oh, what about a Stary Night version. I like it! I think I’ll paint that. Instead of the yellow background, I’d like to paint my background. Oh my, I could do a paper collage!
I worked on this project a while ago. Oh, here it is. I would love to see your drawings. You can tag me on Instagram @apaintedgarden or comment below?
