Today’s WordPress prompt is: If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time? That answer is a no-brainer for me: paint!

As colorful as these flowers are, painting brings color to my life. If I had extra hours in my days, I would paint. The thought of late-night painting sessions under the moon thrills me. All is calm, all is quiet. The only noise to be heard is my brush gliding on the paper.

There are times when I spend hours sitting. It’s me and my creative space. Nothing else matters. I go from idea to idea. I did that yesterday, and I realized that all that matters is that I paint. I have been obsessing about the word count for each of my posts. I am learning SEO. I’m like, you know what? How about doing what you do for the thrill of it?

For the remainder of the year, I will repost old content and twice a week post new projects. I am building a list of tutorial posts. The watercolor finger painting post was popular. Ok, I am going to turn the above flowers into a seamless pattern. If you are curious, you can the pattern in my gallery.
