Sometimes it is good to stand back and observe your work. In this post, I will review my work and embrace my art. Let’s begin!

Sometimes, I redo work, and I am glad I painted this design. I love big, bountiful flower arrangements, and I want these paintings to give an abundance vibe.

Here is the original

I love the colors on my palette paper, but that color got lost in the painting. I loved the leaves and the yellow vase. This painting is colorful and made me think of cultures. You can walk through a marketplace and see pottery, textiles, shopping bags, and more. My goal was to explore bolder colors than I usually paint with. Part of me loves this but I can’t get past wanting more contrast.

Everything Is Bountiful and Bright

Oh my, I love this version of my flower vase paintings. I have a little blue, and the hero color is magenta. I love the way the yellow vase warms up the painting. The flowers fill up the page. I’m not sure about the green. The beauty of acrylic paint is I can mix up a green I like, and paint over it! Maybe teal leaves? The contrast in this painting is right on. I will work on the leaves.

Wow, I feel good about my art. I love to paint flowers. It has been a while since I painted the first vase of flowers. I can see that my skills have grown. I am growing.

Which version do you like? What project are you working on? Please know that I support you. Together we bloom.

With Love, Mireya
