My summer has officially begun. I want to set the tone for my summer projects. I want to face fear so I can be free to make the art I’ve always dreamed I could. I have. I am. Let me explain with a little poem letter. I hope this letter inspires you to create something wonderful this summer and onward. I’ll end this post with a true story about my little bird friend.
A Poem About Fear
There you are creating your art
Inspiration, tools, and ideas are brilliant from the start
A thought pops into your head
Doubt begins to spread
I dipped the brush in the wrong color
My wings lose flutter
It goes in the trash
Or in the failed stash
Am I an artist?
Am I a bloomer who sees a paint bottle and can’t resist?
Yes, I am an artist!
The way you blooms make me feel.
Orange Roses, Blue Roses you’re a beautiful deal!
Fill up the page with dots except for a few flowers
Finger paint
Fix it with another layer or add details with Neocolors
You have the power.
You are the artist
Now onto the story about my little bird friend. In my patio, there was the cutest little bird. With a wounded wing, it walked here and there and settled on a flower pot. One bird and then another came. I could hear the chirps. One bird gave the little bird something. Evening came and I heard the bird take flight outside my window. Yes, the bird had fluttered off. I wonder if my words of I love you. You can do it, You’ll be ok helped?
With Love,
Mireya
