One simple thing I do is paint! I paint abstract flowers. I paint to relax. When I am tired I paint. When flowers say paint me! I paint them. I paint when I think about my day or the days to come. I paint practically every day!
This year I had a chance to teach art. I guided them by introducing an artist, working on a color palette, and adding a few fun tools. Then I step back and let the magic happen.

I have learned how not to be an artist. As artists, we have an opportunity to learn about ourselves by listening to our ideas. I am always amazed by the colors and textures my students paint.
What I love most about art is there is room for all of us. When we paint together. There is a sense of beautiful unity. We support each other. Different is truly beautiful!
