If you are in the mood for mindfulness and doodling by fingerpainting then you will love this post. Earlier this week I explored mixing pinks. For the wildflowers, I wanted pinks and greens. There is this artist who paints abstract flowers with acrylic paint. Then she embroiders details. Her flowers are beautiful but it’s the color scheme that I find incredible!
This is the first official finger-painted flower that has me thinking yes I want more of this…and so it begins. The end of spring and summer days of painting to see what happens. No perfection just simple doodles.
I keep intending to paint outside. This week I shall paint outside. I have just the project.
Here’s a start-to-finish video of my process.
I just found out that this week I will be guiding children to paint Paul Klee’s Senecio.
What are you working on? Have you tried fingerpainting flowers?
Here’s to our projects! Together we bloom in abundance.
