If there was a biography about me, what would the title be? I want to be a free soul means Alma Libre in Spanish. This is my favorite song. Well, I have many favorite songs but this song is why I paint and how I think. It’s who I am in everyday life. That is my dream anyway.

 Here is a little poem I wrote.

I paint

I dream of hills and fields of flowers

I paint

I dance

I gaze up at the moon

I write

I wander and wonder

This is who I am. The title of my book has got to be Alma Libre. I went over various titles like Down to Earth Girl. I was thinking about turquoise and peach fuzz and Alma Libre is right. Oooh yes, I must write this book.

If you think about it, you are in control when you paint. I mean you pick up the brush and it’s up to you how you fill up your canvas. You can explore and surrender to the making. There’s magic in art, right?
