Yes. The paint felt like I was painting with glue. There wasn’t much pigment in the paint. I believe this set is the worst set I have painted with. I have painted with Rose Art, Crayola Educational Sets, and the black palette from the dollar tree. These paints were gluey and transparent. I did lots of layers, added a few details with Neocolors, and finished with marker details for the leaves. Did I have fun? Yes. Did I paint pretty flowers? YES. This goes to show us that art doesn’t need fancy tools. Of course, I have my favorites but all I have to do is paint and be expressive.

I have two final entries to complete in my journal. Then it’s off to a new journal. Soon I’ll be on a three-week break and will have plenty of time to start a new project, add work to my shop, and film videos. I have short ones on Pinterest.
