Get out your tools and play. Blue and pink you are my loves. I blogged about painting to find your style yesterday. Today I put play to the test. I gathered a few supplies and I painted. There was a work in progress that had to go. I tried layering and blending bright orange colors. There were warm oranges that I couldn’t mix today. It was one of the pieces that ended well in the previous session. All I needed was a few details. It was going to be beautiful. I had high hopes. I let it go. I had a new journal. I’ve never worked with rough paper before. I saw it at the store and it called my name. Play seemed like a good idea. It was!
