The sketch on the left is drawn with a highlighter and blue marker. The dark blue marker was going in the trash, but I added it to my toolbox. I have a collection of tools. Simple tools make beautiful art. That reminds me, I’m looking for random objects to stamp with and make interesting textures. I know you can make stencils with a glue gun and glue sticks. Have a random object that you like to stamp with? Let me know.

Back to my blue flower sketch. I used a green pen to draw the leaves. I had leftover paint and painted three roses. I mixed up a beautiful green. There was a moment of hesitation but I painted with the spirit of Anthropologie. There are no mistakes. There is beautiful color and self-expression.
