I love the colors here. My palette is improving! The yellow-green makes pink pop. These flowers are expressive of the words that came from my spirit. I was about to overthink and suddenly these words fruition. Soften your strokes. Let the brush glide on the page. Remember the artist who mixes color on the page instead of a palette. Enjoy the color! Enjoy the ride! Then I was overcome by the peace that painting brings. Oh, and the rose garden I visited was fresh in my mind too.

I enjoy painting. It’s not that I feel good when I paint. I just paint. I feel peace. It’s the same as being in nature. Art calls my spirit. And three paintings later, I’m on a roll.
