I used a paper roll to stamp the flower shapes. Here’s an idea pin that explains my process. I mixed up student and professional grade paint. I used India Ink for the leaves. I used gouache to add detail lines in the leaves. The background was done with watercolor. These flowers are the beginning of a folder that will be filled with roses and various flower designs. My spirit was saying,” Use what you have. Try it all. See what happens. Simple tools are beautiful! How about a poem.”
