I know that I want to paint a roses book. That is the plan. Problem is I like all flowers. I’m enjoying roses. This year, not sure if it’s only me, but the roses are big and in such wonderful colors. Seeing these roses brings me peace and allows me to enjoy the moment. You know the saying, take time and smell the roses. I can work with this idea for a t-shirt design!

Today I have wildflowers. I want bright colors and sporadic texture.I’ll give these flowers another layer of pink and orange. Then I can add more blue to the background. I have about 12 pages left in my journal. The plan is to paint a rose or two every day. Then I”ll share a video of my favorites from the entire journal before I throw out the journal. My goal is to paint two to three rose paintings every week for the book. I will be sharing the content here. I should get over the doubt right? I am not even doubting. I like layering and layering. Then I can see the idea bloom right before my eyes.
