The Quinacridone Crimson is a pink red. This flower arrangement makes me think of Strawberry Shortcake. I went through many layers for the vase and background. I thought of my students who were given paint and a brush. They just painted. It was beautiful! I like where my work is going. I find myself breathing and eager to try all the tools. Toward the end I did bring out my golden fluid paint and Winsor premium yellow. There was a moment when I paused to ponder,” What color is my hero?” My answer was who cares. Keep painting!

Tomorrow I’ll share new work. I have a few t-shirt designs I want to share. Then it’s on to roses roses and more flowers.
