First impression was to see how many colors I could mix up. I thought about creating a color grid. But I wanted to paint. I swatched the colors to see what I have to work with. Then I was curious about the difference between titanium white and mixing white. Mixing white preserves more of the color. Where as titanium white is opaque. To soften a color you can use mixing white. So far I like using mixing white! I want to do a comparison flower painting. I have and will share this tomorrow or within a few days.

The weather is warmer and summer is near. My summer has already begun and I am looking forward to painting more roses. At the end of the summer I will have a book.
