Hello! It felt good to paint. I know I’m supposed to be in the in-between state of mind. I am. Painting gives me clarity and peace. Sometimes you just need to take a breath of fresh air and regroup. Painting makes me feel like I’m flying by the seat of my soul. Painting makes me smile.
Ok, on to my summer love roses. I always go back to these walls. These walls are painted on a rustic walk, in a cafe, or on a walkway to the garden. You breathe away from it all. Embrace lessons of the past and hope for the future. The breeze and the peach roses remind you that you’ve done the best you could. You feel brave and beautiful. You feel you! Yes, that is how I felt as I painted these roses. I’m feeling it now. I’ll keep working on these flowers tomorrow. I’ll be posting a video of the start-to-finish process on Pinterest. I’ll post about it when it goes live so you can see it.
My summer daily blog posts will begin on July 18th. I’ll be sharing more doodle fun and roses. My goal is to paint tons of roses. I’ll write poetry and not think about the book. In the last half of the summer, I’ll review my posts and start building the book. By the end of summer, I plan to have a shareable roses book on Amazon for free in ebook form.
My Liquitex giveaway set arrived a few days ago! Maybe I should kick off the summer by reviewing the paint. I will! Thanks for reading. And thank you for following! We blooming beauties are growing. I’m excited for what’s to come! What are you working on this summer? My best to you! Comment below.
Siempre,
Mireya
